Health
and Vaccinations: At Bokhara we take pride in
maintaining a safe and controlled environment, and meeting these standards is the result of a successful
partnership between us both. Therefore, it is imperative
you notify us if Little Bit has had a communicable
disease within the 30 days prior to arrival or if you
feel Little Bit is not feeling 100% prior to check-in.
All vaccinations must be current prior to arrival. |
Our records
for Little Bit may be incomplete or just outdated since
your last stay at Bokhara, if this is the case, please
provide us with an updated copy of Little Bit's
vaccinations, or you may bring them with you to
check-in. For 1st Visit/New Client reservations
the vaccination records must be emailed, faxed or mailed
to us well in advance of the arrival date so we can verify
that our required vaccinations are current for this
stay. As always, your veterinarian can
fax proof of compliance directly to us at (231)

* Bordetella: We require that all Bordetella
vaccinations be no less than six months old From
May 31st - Sept 15th
for the canine cough virus tends to be a summertime problem when
there is high humidity and hot weather. At all
other times of the year the Bordetella will be accepted
as current within the year. Bokhara accepts no
responsibility for a dog coming down with a case of
canine cough. |

Canine Influenza Vaccine: We are not requiring
CIV at this time, but we highly recommend your dog
having the two series vaccinations for the Canine
Influenza Virus. We do not require Feline Leukemia
vaccinations for cats, but we do require a negative test
if you don't vaccinate for FeLeuk. |
Helping to Keep Our Facility Virus & Critter Free - Your
Assistance Is Needed! We do ask for the
protection of all of our boarding guests that if you are
traveling to Northern Michigan with your pet that you DO
NOT potty your dog at any of the public roadway rest stops, or
at any of the fast food grassy areas for these areas are
where you will likely pick up a nasty virus and then bring
it on to our facility. Fleas & Ticks:
Additionally, for the protection of our guests we require that you maintain a year-round
treatment for fleas and ticks in order to protect our
resort and guests from any cross contamination. Guests
arriving with parasites will be treated at the owners
expense. |

Holiday
Date Hours:
Limited check-in & check-out only between 9am - Noon on
the date of all Holidays. No early or late
arrivals on the Holiday dates.
On Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve we do close at 4:00 pm. |
Arrivals
& Departures: We have no set check-in time, and the
check-out time is 2pm (with a grace period until 3pm).
Guests may arrive or depart any time during normal
business hours; however, we would prefer arrivals at
least 30-45 minutes prior to closing. Please schedule a
departure time at check-in to help expedite the the
check-out process. Check outs between 3pm and closing
(except Sunday) will incur a Extended Check Out Fee of
$8. The Extended Check Out charge will not apply to
pets scheduled for a Bath, Brush &
Nails or a Complete Grooming (this does not apply to
a basic shampoo & dry bath or ancillary services.)
Check-outs between 5-6:00 PM on Sunday will always pay for that
full day. |
After Hours: Early Check-Ins or Late Departs
There are additional charges for early or late times,
please speak with us directly for pre-approval and pricing.
We do require a one night non-refundable deposit before
any early or late arrival/departs can be confirmed plus
our standard after or before hours charge fee.
